New England weather can go from freezing winters to hot, humid summers. Your vehicle's climate control system needs to work properly to keep you comfortable and safe throughout the year. Both the air conditioning and heating systems are more complex than most people realize.

The air conditioning system uses refrigerant, a compressor, condenser, and evaporator to cool the air. Over time, refrigerant can leak out, compressor clutches wear out, and condensers get clogged with debris. If your AC is blowing warm air or not cooling as well as it used to, it likely needs service.

Your heating system relies on hot engine coolant flowing through a heater core. A blend door directs air through or around the heater core to control temperature. Problems can include a clogged heater core, stuck blend door, or issues with the blower motor and fan.
